Situ is looking for an enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our busy Finance Team who have a culture of success and the highest levels of service. Job purpose

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ensuring debtors' and creditors' information is correct. Working daily on bank reconciliations as well as monthly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching the Finance Team, distributing workload, and working on appraisals and KPIs.

 

Key responsibilities and duties

  • Management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Managing the team by coaching and mentoring, training, and delegating whilst working with them on appraisals and KPIs.
  • Being the main point of contact for escalation of queries.
  • Monthly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Daily bank reconciliations.
  • Ensuring debtor's and creditor's information is correct.
  • Daily accounts for our sister company.
  • Look to improve systems and processes to maximise efficiency.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders e.g., clients, suppliers, colleagues etc.
  • Meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Follow and support company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with management as required.
  • Commercial thinking for both your team and Situ.
  • Management responsibilities for teams (as required) in conjunction with Situ People.
  • This list is not exhaustive but covers most of what is expected. You will be expected to perform different tasks as required, in line with Situ's overall business strategies.

Qualifications

  • AAT qualified or above desirable, however, QBE will be considered.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
