Let’s do a recap of some of the 2022-2023 highlights:

Be More Starfish

We launched our ‘Be More Starfish’ ESG Starfish approach. This is our comprehensive programme of targets, activities, and initiatives around all matters relating to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). There are many plans shaping up under the guidance of our three employee-led and run committees – Environmental; Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; and Charity. Each is working across the business and, externally, are relevant in order to establish tangible steps and actions that Situ can take to really live its ESG commitments.

Situ Amsterdam and Edinburgh roadshows

We came to meet all our wonderful partners in Amsterdam (October 2022) and Edinburgh (January 2022). This gave us the opportunity to connect in person, say thank you, celebrate all that is great in the industry, and put the important subject of sustainability firmly on the agenda.  And all of that and so much more happened because we are nothing if not ‘connected by people’, one of our core Situ philosophies.

Rebecca Gonzaga joining Situ

Becca joined us in October 2022 as our new Commercial Director, and wow, what a successful and incredible journey we’ve had so far. Becca has been leading our commercial teams and the business forward, working strategically but ever involved in the day-to-day operations – troubleshooting, improving processes, and driving for commercial sustainability and growth.

Situ wins two awards in one week!

We won the ‘Integration Partner of the Year’ at the Displaced Talent Mobility Awards 2023, which was held on February 23 in London.

Organised by Fragomen and Situ’s brilliant partners at Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB), the awards recognise the employers, partners, and alumni who have made the TBB programme such a success. The awards also represent a valuable opportunity to hear the stories of talented individuals who have secured safe futures in the UK.

We also announced winning the Tower of Excellence Award for ‘Most Creative Marketing’ at the CHPA (Corporate Housing Providers Association) Annual Conference 2023.

The conference took place from February 20-22 in New Orleans in the United States, and brought together corporate housing professionals from all over the world. Each year entries are submitted to the awards and judged by an unbiased panel of association and marketing professionals. The Tower of Excellence Awards highlights the most significant contributions and accomplishments in the industry over the past year. The award winners in each of the categories were announced on February 22 at an awards ceremony.

Our new Product & Development Director – Paul Lynch

Paul is reporting to our Founder and MD, Phil Stapleton, working alongside our Commercial Director, Rebecca Gonzaga. Paul’s years of expertise in modernising, streamlining, and adapting platforms and systems to drive efficiencies and save money – ultimately delivering positive outcomes for customers – is integral in helping us to deliver on all our future growth plans.

It’s a wrap-up!

We had such a great evening at the Situ comms event exploring our vision and goals for the coming year and celebrating our achievements – and we’re looking forward to an exciting year ahead.
