For Situ, that hope arrived in all the generous donations we received for our heartwarming Christmas charity video ‘Homes for the Holidays 2023’—a testament to the spirit of giving and togetherness.
As you know, home is more than just a place; it’s a feeling of warmth, safety, and belonging. Yet, for many, this fundamental comfort remains out of reach. That’s why we’ve partnered with Centrepoint, a charity dedicated to giving young homeless people a future.
‘Homes for the Holidays,’ was not just a celebration of the festive season but also a call to action. We’ve seen how Situ helps hundreds of travellers find their front doors each year. This time our mission was for those who needed it most.
Our video reached beyond the glittering decorations and cheerful tunes; it served as a sincere appeal to extend compassion towards those without a place to call home. It urged action and gathered support for the homeless, shining a spotlight on the true essence of the holiday season—generosity in its purest form.
The campaign’s success surpassed all our expectations, raising over £2000 for Centrepoint. Yet, beyond the monetary value, this achievement symbolises a collective effort—a sign of the strength that emerges when communities unite and stand in solidarity.
But it didn’t stop there; the video sparked meaningful conversations about homelessness, encouraging individuals to take action.
