Following the announcement last week regarding Monika Meel joining our Situ team, to be based in her hometown of Bangalore, we are pleased to share that we are now integrating with STAAH, one of the leading channel and distribution management companies in the travel industry. STAAH’s platforms and systems enable thousands of accommodation operators to connect their live inventory directly with booking platforms such as staysitu.com. STAAH’s coverage in the APAC region is unprecedented, with more than 16,000 suppliers from all regions offering an array of accommodation, including serviced apartments, hotels, and vacation rentals.

Kris Kolev, Situ’s guru when it comes to integrations and distribution, is excited about the difference working with STAAH is making, “The breadth of coverage across APAC, combined with being able to directly plug the Situ proprietary API into the STAAH integration tool is making it much easier for us to do business in the region and to keep pace with demand. We now have many locations across APAC ready and waiting to be instantly booked 24/7.”

“STAAH are delighted to be integrating with Situ, a global leader in the hospitality industry for those travellers and companies looking for accommodation options that are more suitable for longer stays than a traditional hotel room.  The connection will certainly mobilise this key sector across the globe allowing accommodation providers to expand their horizons” says Tarun Joukani, Commercial Director for STAAH.

Our MD Phil Stapleton sums it all up, “Expansion in the APAC region has been on our radar for a while. Many of our clients have requirements in the area, and we receive new requests daily. Having Monika on the ground and working with STAAH’s innovative and effortless integration technology is significantly opening APAC up for our clients.
