Transport

By Air

‘s-Hertogenbosch does not have an airport: the largest airport nearby is Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. It offers direct flights to many countries in Europe and overseas and is served by most major airlines. There is a direct train from Schiphol Airport to ‘s-Hertogenbosch, which takes about an hour. Renting a car at the airport is also a viable option, the trip will take one hour via the A2 motorway.

Eindhoven Airport is the nearest to ‘s-Hertogenbosch, it is only 30 minutes away by car. Otherwise, use an airport shuttle to get to the central train station of Eindhoven. Continue from here on a direct train that runs every 30 minutes.

Rotterdam Airport is also very convenient by car, it only takes one hour to drive to Den Bosch. Public transport connections are not direct and involve a change at Utrecht.

By Rail

Distances are not very large in the Netherlands, and ‘s-Hertogenbosch is easily accessible by train from most major cities. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Eindhoven by train. Amsterdam is about one hour away. All train services are part of the same OV transport system and can be paid for with the same ticket.

By Bus
