The mainline station is one of the busiest outside central London, with up to eight trains into London Waterloo every hour – take one of the fast trains and arrive in just 20 minutes. Surbiton is a bustling commuter town, where well-known high street shops sit alongside independent and boutique retailers, with an abundance of restaurants, cafés and traditional English pubs to choose from. The Surbiton farmers’ market is open once a month and offers everything from fresh or pickled vegetables, jams and drinks to beautiful flower bouquets – all grown locally. The River Thames is a short walk from the high street, where a riverside towpath takes you into the neighbouring historic market town of Kingston upon Thames. You can even enjoy a boat trip on one of the Hart Boats and Boards tours, making Surbiton the ideal option for both leisure and business guests.
