About Chiswick

Overview

The riverside village of Chiswick boasts a wide mix of shops, restaurants and a generous amount of green space. It also contains an enormous range of businesses, making the area popular with users of serviced accomodation. Thus, Chiswick now has a growing demand for serviced apartments to accommodate for the diverse range of travellers who visit.

About Chiswick

Chiswick, meaning ‘cheese farm’ in Old English gained credibility as a fishing village benefiting from the Thames. Since, structures such as the 12th century St. Nicholas Church and the 16th century Walpole House represent the lifestyles of the past generations of Chiswick. Thanks to restoration and maintenance of heritage, the residents have continued to enjoy the often unspoken history of Chiswick. Today though, residents from all walks of life together with the constant flow of new visitors have formed a strong, peaceful community. The mixture of Chiswick’s bustling high streets and attention to it’s past through maintained structures, make the district a paradise for both professionals and tourists alike. With that, Situ has made sure Chiswick corporate accommodation and temporary housing are available to provide lodgings for the many that visit the area every day.

BUSINESS PROMISE

From film companies like Paramount and United International Pictures, to coffee giants Starbucks, technology experts Qualcomm and many more, Chiswick really is a hub for big business. Choosing Chiswick serviced apartments over traditional hotels in what is primarily a residential district of London, enables business travellers looking for extended stay apartments to have a comfortable and more productive stay.

Young professionals particularly regard Chiswick to be an area for of business promise. Chiswick High Road and its Business Park have accumulated a corporate population, who are always on the look for serviced apartments and Chiswick's short term accommodation. The Business Park is a major office development in Chiswick and its location is ideal for commuters. The accompanying High Road’s food, drink and entertainment options make working in here an extremely attractive. Chiswick corporate housing options are vast and booking Situ’s serviced apartments could not be easier.

COUNTRYSIDE ‘DREAM’

It’s not all business in Chiswick. Due to the amazing river and green space scenery, locals refer to their neighbourhood as a countryside dream. It’s incredibly easy to enjoy the river views close to our aparthotels. There's a great, vast range of restaurants and pubs dotted all along the river. The area accommodates for the more active people too, with activities such as canoeing and rowing based on river. If you happen to be in Chiswick over the Spring, you could also witness the famous Cambridge and Oxford Boat Race. The ‘Championship Course’ is four miles long and finishes just before Chiswick Bridge. We have plenty of Chiswick furnished short lets and temporary housing options for those who are here solely for the historic race.

Away from the competitiveness along the river, you could visit the more tranquil Chiswick House. The fact that its beautiful garden is open to the public makes this a popular attraction. You are free to enjoy sixty-five acres of garden, beautiful ponds, fountains and a charming 18th century wilderness. Chiswick’s fantastic variety of public transport and train stations make this house easily accessible.

Similarly recognised as a go-to picturesque area of London, Strand on the Green is the west of Chiswick. The green is perfect for walks, overlooked by several charismatic 18th century houses and local pubs. Our Chiswick city apartments are ideally placed near the green, so the district’s beauty is on your doorstep.

Chiswick’s beauty combined with its professional standing make the district one of London’s most popular. As if what the area offers is not enough, it also provides a home for a range of furnished housing and city apartments. All of which Situ can offer for your perfect time in Chiswick.
